The Wondertwins LOVE to play outside! Papaw built this awesome porch for us. It is a great, safe place to spend time together. This cracks me up because it is totally what they do almost all the time when we are on the deck. They push things one way, then the other... back and forth. So cute!

Oh little Play Mate...
This morning the Wondertwins were super clinging. I think they knew Daddy was going to be gone for awhile (He is off on his yearly golf trip). So, after being up with them since 5:30 I fed them breakfast around 8. Afterward I put them in the living room to play while I cleaned up.
It was amazing! They played nicely together for about 40 minutes. I don't think this has ever happened before... at least not for more than a couple of minutes. I just stood in the kitchen watching them and listening to them giggle and squeal. I even video taped some of it because it was so wonderful. I love that they have each other!

Ha Ha Ha... Funny Mommy!
The Wonder Twins were looking cute today. Froggy has her hair in "fraggle style" pig tails and Monkey Boy is his usual smiley self. SOOOoooooo... I thought, "What a great opportunity to get pictures of both of them!!!!! LOL I don't know what I was thinking!
Monkey has a fascination with Frogs socks. Frog just keeps throwing a fit. Eventually, I gave up and put them down for naps. Maybe I will try again another day.

Stranger Anxiety
Today we went to visit my husband at work. It was the first time his co-workers had seen the Wonder Twins since they were 2 months old. Monkey Boy was sleeping when we went in. He woke to find a bunch of women looking at him. He immediately started crying. We let a friend hold Little Frog... She started crying too! The only thing that kept them calm was if Mommy or Daddy was holding them. They have never been like this before. Most of the time they are happy go lucky and will let just about anyone hold them.
So, I guess the stranger anxiety has begun!

Tired
Once a week my triathlete husband goes for a group bike ride after work. I think it is a necessity for his training... since he is home every other night to help put babies to bed. However, it never fails that the day seems EXTREMELY long to me!
Z and B did not take an afternoon nap. Z finally slept for about 20 minutes... but his sister was wide awake. Then, Z woke up... and Bree started fussing- "TIME FOR BED". I put Z in the high chair, ready to feed them their evening oatmeal and other (tonight it was bananas).
I scooped Bree out of the jumperoo and felt wet on my arm. I looked down to see poop smeared all down my arm!!!! UGH!!! Apparently, her jumping was squishing it out... YUCK!!!! Emergency bath time!
Cleaned B... dressed, diapered, etc. Put her in the highchair, fed them, read her a book, then put her to bed. Played with Z for about 10 minutes, repeated the routine. Both are now in bed.
Now, I am worn out! No on told me being a SAHM would be harder than teaching! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE it!!! I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. But, I don't know of any other job that you are on task 24/7. I don't think people have any idea! I know my husband tries... but I don't think he would survive doing this every day.
On to eat dinner... reboot/refresh... and wake up tomorrow to start again. I am SO thankful to be with my two every day... but, right now I'm tired.

Matching twins
Generally, the Wonder Twins do not have on identical clothes. Even though they are twins, I try to dress them differently most of the time. I feel like they need to be treated as individuals, not a unit.
However, someone gave us these matching sleepers. For the first time, they are dressed the same... The only difference is the bow in Bree's hair.
I have to admit, they do look cute... but to me... they ALWAYS look cute!!!
