Today's Game: What will you eat?

I hope I'm not the only one with toddlers experiencing this. I feel like I am on a Game Show... WHAT WILL YOU EAT? Unfortunately, there is no big prize. Just my sanity.

I never know what B and Z are going to eat. Rarely is it the same thing as each other, or what they liked the day before!

For awhile Z would eat any kind of pasta as long as it had tomato sauce on it... Now, no pasta. He WILL however, eat peanut butter or almond butter. Sometimes by itself. That can be quite messy.

Fruit is pretty much a constant. However, this morning Z didn't want grapes or raisins, or pear. He DID actually eat a bit of cheese though... which has been pushed away for the last week. B will ALWAYS eat cheese. In fact, it seems to be her favorite. She is always signing/saying "cheese". Then if I say, "not right now". She follows with saying/signing "Peese!!!" (please). SO darn cute!!!!!!

I hope they will start eating other stuff. Sometimes I am moved to tears because I can't figure out anything they will eat (especially Z). Luckily, they WILL almost always drink a smoothie.

So, for now I will focus on that. I fill it with all sorts of good stuff... and then I don't have to worry so much. This morning they had avacado, squash, banana, pear, yogurt, ground flaxseed, cod liver oil, and orange juice. They drank it up!!!!! MMmmmmmm! Hmmmmm Maybe I should start drinking that for breakfast.

Oh my.. we've been there. My 3 year old used to eat everything under the sun. Then at about 2, he just stopped. I remember days when all he ate were bananas, peanut butter sandwitches and yes... smoothies. Thank god for smoothies.

You're not alone! I just hope I don't go through this with the twins too.

My 2 year old likes anything sweet. We call her "the little fly". My 10 year old is picky too. I'm a lucky gal! :-)

Smoothies are a great way to get your twins to have something nutritious. I do that with my twins, too. The only problem is that one of them insists that there be no pieces of fruit in it. He doesn't like the chunks. It must be absolutely smooth! Of course, that's easily solved with a lid so he can't see the fruit pieces!

Amelia used to eat everything except fruit. Then she went through a phase where all she wanted was fruit and we had to hide it til she ate her veggies and meat. Now all she wants are dairy products. I hear, "Cheese Please!" all day. But for awhile there she was having bm issues so we cant give it everytime she asks. She has 3 molars coming in all at once so it seems as htough she is just eating the soft foods. She loves her yogurt though! Ill have to make her a smoothie tomorrow and see if that will fly by her! I have flax seed, yogurt, bananas, avacado,Pb, blueberries or even almond butter!

Yep....I feel you on this one. Avery loved bananas. Now she won't eat one bite. She will eat broccoli today but not tomorrow. She will eat her weight in blueberries though!
